After decades of operation and millions of visitors and memories, Virginia Originals and the Chesapeake Grill are slated to become part of the bridge-tunnel's history. The construction of a long-anticipated parallel tunnel at the southern man-made island will require the closure and demolition of the building that houses the amenities.
